class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-descrizione-del-corso\"><strong>Course Description.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OREN Course for Rural Entrepreneurship is the result of the OREN project, <strong>funded by ERASMUS+<\/strong> from February 2022 to the end of 2024.\nIt is a free course aimed at <strong>entrepreneurs <\/strong>already active<strong> in the rural sector<\/strong> (tourism, agribusiness, sustainable energy, and forestry), or aspiring ones, who intend to increase their <strong>knowledge for improving business performance<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It stems from the need to enhance and develop the<strong> potential of Europe&#8217;s rural areas, communities and<\/strong> businesses by rethinking enterprises with respect to the changes taking place.\nAbove all, it aims to define strategies for a sustainable, networked business future, promoting the adoption of <strong>systems thinking as a driver of success in a local multi-stakeholder environment<\/strong>.\nThe course therefore provides the tools to promote <strong>positive changes in communities <\/strong>and foster <strong>sustainable<\/strong> <strong>competitiveness<\/strong> and <strong>development<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sintesi-dei-temi-trattati-e-degli-strumenti-offerti\"><strong>Summary of topics covered and tools offered<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course also prepares for the use of an <strong>interactive simulation and learning environment<\/strong> by offering guidelines, resources, databases, online self-study lessons, related assessment tests, according to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oren-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/OREN-course-full-document.pdf\">5 modules<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EUROPEAN AND NATIONAL RURAL POLICIES FRAMEWORK<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SKILLS  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION SKILLS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>COMMUNICATION AND SOFT SKILLS  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MODELLING AND SIMULATION IN THE OREN PLATFORM<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-opportunita-professionali-e-competenze-acquisite\"><strong>Professional opportunities and skills acquired<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurs acquire and improve <strong>technical and managerial skills<\/strong>, knowledge and understanding of their <strong>impacts in economic, environmental and social terms<\/strong>, exploring through simulation of their business models opportunities to be able to reduce them.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, they learn to analyze <strong>dynamics in their communities<\/strong>; understand real-world scenarios,<strong> business management<\/strong>, and European and national development and innovation <strong>policies<\/strong>; and improve <strong>communication of <\/strong>their enterprise and initiative.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They can create, simulate, test and revise <strong>their<\/strong> real <strong>Business Plan<\/strong> in risk-free scenarios as robust and effective micro-worlds.\nSpecifically serving an <strong>integrated platform for Business Prototyping<\/strong>, they analyze each feature, the reaction of business assumptions to the context and the passage of time.\nThus exploring new business opportunities can elevate existing businesses and launch new ventures through<strong>sustainable, open and competitive innovation.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, OREN&#8217;s local multi-stakeholder approach encourages <strong>collaboration between rural enterprises and other stakeholders<\/strong>, stimulating synergies to counter external pressures and issues with social and environmental solutions.\nThis is made possible through a<strong> Stakeholder Map<\/strong>, i.e., a searchable <strong>database <\/strong>in which the rural entrepreneur can search for potential partners and
