Food Circularity Check
Self-Assessment Tool for Circularity in the Food System
Welcome to Food Circularity Check the circularity self-assessment tool for your business!
Find out your company’s circular economy maturity level now!
The questionnaire we designed will guide you in filling in relevant topics in 6 different categories:
- MATERIAL RESOURCES AND COMPONENTS
- ENERGY AND WATER RESOURCES
- WASTE AND EMISSIONS
- LOGISTICS
- PRODUCT/SERVICE
- HUMAN RESOURCES, ASSETS, POLICY AND SUSTAINABILITY
With a total of 68 questions provided, which can be completed in about 20 minutes, you can assess your company’s preparedness. You will have to answer affirmatively or negatively, or you can indicate whether the topic does not apply to your company according to this distinction:
- YES: I have implemented concrete actions on this issue and monitor the results achieved;
- NO: I have no knowledge of this issue;
- IT DOES NOT CONCERN ME: This issue is not applicable to my company.
It is important to clarify that each question specifies the type of indicator (core, specific, or rewarding) in reference to the UNI/TS 11820 certification. To obtain the certification, it is necessary to answer all core questions affirmatively and the majority of the specific ones. Affirmative answers to the rewarding questions will help increase your overall level of circularity.
At the end of the questionnaire, you will be able to download a summary document showing the completion percentage achieved in each of the six categories. This information will help you identify potential areas for improvement. The document will also include a summary evaluation, which is essential to assess your readiness to apply for the UNI/TS 11820 certification.
