If packaging is unavoidable, choosing cardboard packaging will limit your impact on the environment. In general, it also pays to limit the purchase and consumption of single-serving foods, favoring packs and packages of a size appropriate to your family’s needs and possibly consisting of only one material or easily disassembled.
