In a rapidly changing and increasingly complex world, CommCode23 Agency, as a radio station and communications agency, has created a unique platform dedicated to exploring the intersection of technology, sustainability, innovation and social change, delving into the critical issues of the circular economy, bioeconomy and ESG.
In addition to offering consulting and designing multimedia and audiovisual solutions to their clients, they provide in-depth news and analysis on the latest developments in politics, economics, science, and culture through a WebRadio. In radio columns on news, communication, culture, labor, gender equality, music, and food, experts from various fields who promote a more sustainable and equitable future for future generations speak and are interviewed. The radio station is thus a reference point for professionals, businesses, and citizens interested in addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by climate change and the circular economy.
In particular, we explore the CC23 Magazine – Circular Food column that aims to provide a deeper and more informed understanding of the food system, stimulating debate and promoting innovative and sustainable practices. The starting point for the reflections and discussions is the assumption that food is more than just nourishment. It is a central element of our culture, history and society, linked to moments of sharing, celebration and memories. At the same time, it is a complex interconnected system involving a vast and articulated production chain, from agricultural production to distribution in supermarkets and industrial processing.
The column thus offers a comprehensive and multidisciplinary view of food, involving farmers, researchers, entrepreneurs, journalists, and other experts who share experiences and knowledge on the platform. This allows different impacts to be addressed, with a focus on social justice, environmental protection and health issues. At the environmental level, we talk about pollution, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss due to intensive agriculture, pesticide and fertilizer use, plastic packaging, and long-distance transportation. Thesocial impact is also significant and falls on the living conditions of millions of people, from farmers to food industry workers, often causing inequality, exploitation and precarity. Finally, thepolitical and economic influence on the food system through agricultural policies, multinational corporations, geopolitical conflicts, and food crises.
