Capital
Natural, Cultural and Economic Capital, are inseparable factors.
The C of Capital invites us to bring attention back to biodiversity, to communities, to the quality of relationships, to the substance of behaviors.
The new circular economic paradigm, when applied to food, should first and foremost start with preserving and regenerating, at the local level, Natural Capital, the entire stock of natural assets (living organisms, air, water, soil and geological resources) that contribute to providing ecosystem goods and services for humanity.
Connected to it is Cultural Capital, or that set of knowledge, values and attitudes towards natural and social ecosystems, which must be cherished and handed down as a precious legacy, so that it can become from generation to generation a vision integrated with the future and capable of producing a distributed and equitable source of income that sustains Human, Social, Economic Capital.
Natural, Human, Social, Cultural and Economic Capital are thus inseparable factors supported and dialoguing through Relational Capital.
